Important disclaimer
GTA IV phone cheats are single-player Story Mode only. They permanently disable story achievements on that save file — start a new save or load a clean save before using them if you plan to chase achievements.
GTA IV cheats are entered through Niko's cell phone. Open the phone, dial the number, and press the call button. They take effect immediately. Cheats disable achievements for the current playthrough until you reload a non-cheat save.
GTA IV cheat codes — all cell phone numbers
Open Niko's phone (press Up on D-pad, or the keyboard shortcut), go to Contacts, then dial the number and press Call. The effect triggers immediately. Re-entering the same number toggles some effects off.
PC / PS3 / Xbox 360
Open the cell phone (Up on D-pad or Up on numpad), navigate to Contacts, enter the phone number, and press Call.
- Any cheat used on a save file permanently disables story achievements on that file.
- Create a separate save for achievement runs — the lock is not reversible.
- Weapon cheats give the same weapons each time — re-entering refills ammo.
- GTA IV has no invincibility or wanted level clear cheat.

Achievement warning
Unlike GTA 5 which only disables achievements per-session, a GTA IV save with any cheat used is permanently barred from story achievements.
