What does Valorant VAN 68 mean?
TPM 2.0 is a hardware security chip that stores cryptographic keys and verifies system integrity at boot. Vanguard uses it as part of its trusted boot chain. VAN 68 means either the TPM chip is absent, disabled in BIOS, or running in an incompatible mode (PTT / firmware TPM vs. discrete TPM).
Enabling TPM 2.0 in BIOS
For Intel systems, look for PTT (Platform Trust Technology) in BIOS Advanced settings. For AMD systems, look for fTPM (firmware TPM) under AMD CPU settings. Enable the relevant option and save.
