Valorant Error van-73 means your Windows build is too old for Vanguard to operate. Riot requires Windows 10 build 18362 (version 1903) as the absolute minimum. Windows 7, 8, and early Windows 10 builds are not supported.
Update Windows
Go to Settings > Windows Update and install all available updates. After updating, restart and try Valorant again. If Windows Update shows you are fully updated but still on an unsupported build, check your Windows edition (Home, Pro) for update branch support.
Check your Windows version
Press Windows key + R, type winver, and press Enter. The dialog shows your Windows version and build number. You need Build 18362 or higher.
