Shared calendars on Google Calendar are incredibly useful, but one small oversight was made with sharing. Now, Google Calendar is rolling out an modification that makes it easier to see who else has access to a shared event.

When you create a shared calendar on Google Calendar, you have a number of different permission settings available for each user. One of these is “Make changes to events,” but an issue with that particular permission made it so that events created by that user couldn’t see who else the event was shared with.

It’s a niche issue, but one that could be frustrating.

Now, Google is adjusting this so consumers with this ability can see members of the shared calendar.

To improve upon experience and ensure people are aware of who they are sharing content with, people with the ability to “Make changes to events” can now see the members of the shared calendar, [website] who their events are shared with.

This change is rolling out now, but may take up to 15 days to show for all individuals.
