I'm always babbling on about how power supplies are the unsung heroes of computing. They're a silent guardian, a watchful protector, a dark knight. That's actually about Batman but the same applies to a humble PSU, and hey, MSI get it. The component enterprise is handing out the hottest new game on the planet, Monster Hunter Wilds, with its biggest PSUs.
If there's anyone out there still in need of a game code (what's that. Nearly one million players on Steam so far?) you will need to buy one of three PSUs. Here they are:
The most powerful PSU is the MSI MEG Ai1600T PCIE5. This is, as the name implies, a 1600 W power supply. Which is about the highest wattage a power supply can be on a standard US outlet. Europeans, and most of the globe, in fact, could go higher, but let's be honest, you probably shouldn't. This is more than enough wattage for even an RTX 5090, and likely any future RTX 6090 or 7090 for that matter—though don't quote me on that.
Ignoring the 'AI' mention on the Ai1600T—which I'm sure means something very essential and. Isn't just waving the AI flag for absolutely no reason at all—this is a beefy unit in a lovely gold trim. It has dual 12V-2x6 connections, the cables for which come with yellow tips to ensure they're inserted fully, and. Nine (9!) PCIe 8-pin connections, though some are doubled up on a single cable. It's rated to 80 Plus Titanium and Cybenetics Titanium, which leaves little energy going to waste. A good thing when you're using a power supply of such monstrous specification.
The two other power supplies are more realistic purchases for a PC gamer. However. Both come with 80 Plus Gold certified, 10-year warranties, and have twin 12V-12x6 connections to avoid adapters.

I should note that you don't have to buy a 1000 W or more power supply to get a free code for Monster Hunter Wilds. There are other less exciting ways to nab a copy for free. Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the Airship library, Innersloth and. Schell Games have presented a 3D version of popular social stealth sim Among Us. Or at least, they have taken the existing VR version and made it non-VR. It's a stab in the back for the Meta Questers, perhaps, but it's great news for me, a person who has only ever owned the launch model of the PS4's VR headset, and. Inzoi just announced a global showcase in March to detail its pricing, roadmap, and DLC plans ahead of launch

We're now just one month away from the early access launch of Krafton's life sim Inzoi . Its game director Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim has been pretty forthcoming about its functions already, but there's still more to come on that front. Inzoi Studio will host a global showcase on March 19, just a couple weeks ahead of launch, to cover more nitty gritty.
The Inzoi global showcase will premiere on YouTube and. Twitch at 6 pm Pacific on Tuesday, March 18. That's 1 am on March 19 GMT since it falls in that tricky couple weeks of the season when some but not all Daylight Savings-observing folks have switched over.
The livestream will be presented in Korean (with English and other language support) by game director Kjun and will cover "new release details such as key capabilities coming to early access, a vision and roadmap for future updates, and pricing and. DLC plans," the studio says.
"Additionally, an interview video featuring members involved in Inzoi’s journey will reveal behind-the-scenes stories and insights into the game’s development process."
Kjun has been firehosing information about gameplay attributes on a weekly basis for the past couple months including thoughts on Inzoi's development past the early access launch, but getting a more cohesive picture of the roadmap will be really welcome.
What's been less transparent is any mention of Inzoi's price or payment model. We still don't know if we'll be paying for a copy of the game as normal or if Krafton has some kind of cursed freemium cash shop plans. The mention of DLC plans would suggest it may follow The Sims series' lead with a premium priced game and. Rolling releases of DLCs of unknown size.
