Likely Crosshair X870E Hero, by the BIOS version. 1103 was the latest beta and 1104 just got released. Also I need to remind folks who don't buy ROG motherboards: SP ratings are individual to every single unique processor and are not comparable even across similar models, only other CPUs of the exact same kind amongst themselves. The scale of SP rating on an i9-14900K is different from an i9-13900KS, despite both being effectively identical CPUs. Differences in scale also between K, KF and KS exist, and it's more than likely the same applies to these Ryzen models. So the SP rating of a 9900X is likely not going to mean anything for a 9900X3D, and vice versa.
This reading is also not available on ROG Strix branded motherboards, it's just Maximus and Crosshair that support it. , 1:25 Reply.

HBSound I know this is the next high-powered AM5 processor from AMD. Is there anything else via AMD that is AM5-supported but will trump this kind of offer? Well Zen6 finally moves us to 12-core CCDs for the first real core-count increase in 8 years.
So investing in the very end of 8-core CCDs seems like a bad idea; Sure, if you can use more than 8 cores then go ahead, but games hate running on two separate CCDs so you're enhanced off just getting a 9800X3D. dj-electric I can't even begin to imagine the absurd street price a 9950X3D is going to demand in stores. At launch sure but prices will drop quickly, most people are interested in the 9800x 3d. The 9950x 3d will become the "value" king 6 months after launch (I hope :p ). Im very interested in one but it's a bummer that I need a new cooler, my u12a has 0 chance of handling these chips. Leaked iPhone 17 schematics show the Apple phones could be getting a speaker redesign

The iPhone 16 Pro speaker holes don't match on each side – but they might on the next model.
More iPhone 17 CAD drawings have emerged.
A speaker design could be on the way for certain models.
It's not clear how audio quality will be affected.
Audio quality isn't perhaps the first spec you would look out for when choosing a new phone, but it's an essential feature nevertheless – and newly leaked schematics suggest the iPhone 17 handsets could be getting a speaker revamp.
These CAD drawings come from well-known tipster @MajinBuOfficial, and have apparently been delivered through an internal source at Apple. They give us a good look at the bottom of the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.
While nothing much seems to be changing with the standard iPhone 17 compared to the iPhone 16, both the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max are apparently getting the same number of speaker holes on each side.
As our iPhone 16 Pro review and iPhone 16 Pro Max review will tell you, the speaker configuration is currently asymmetrical on either side of the USB-C port. It would seem that this year Apple is going to even everything out.
3D CAD of the iPhone 17 models reveal a redesign of the speakers. The Pro and Pro Max models now have the same number of speakers per side, while the iPhone 17 Air comes with just 2 speakers per side. The speaker configuration remains unchanged on the standard iPhone 17. [website] 1, 2025.
The iPhone 17 Air is a brand new model this year, so we've got nothing to compare it with, but it sports just two speaker holes on either side – perhaps a sign of the component cutting Apple has had to do in order to make it as slim as possible.
Exactly how this is going to affect the speaker configuration or the quality of the audio is hard to say based on schematics alone, but it seems that the Pro and Pro Max phones may come with a few sound upgrades attached.
The iPhone 17 leaks really are beginning to pile up now. Renders that have previously appeared online suggest we're going to get four phones that look significantly different to their predecessors, especially in terms of the camera module.
A variety of different internal upgrades have also been rumored, but of course none of this is certain until the phones are officially unveiled – which, if Apple sticks to its usual schedule this year, will be sometime in September.

New Sony WH-1000XM6 leak points to an imminent launch, and a choice of 3 colors

Another Sony WH-1000XM6 leak has emerged.
Import documents suggest a launch is close.
The three colors may match the existing model.
Our Sony WH-1000XM5 review will tell you that we've been very impressed with Sony's flagship over-ear headphones since they launched in May 2022 – but that's nearly three years ago. Now it seems that a follow-up pair are finally about to launch.
The team at The Walkman Blog (via Notebookcheck) has spotted what seem to be importer filings, listing a couple of the countries the long-awaited Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones are expected to show up in: India and Vietnam.
In addition, there are references to three colors, which are assumed to be black, platinum silver, and midnight blue. The current Sony WH-1000XM5 model is available in those three colors, plus smoky pink, which was added later and doesn't get a mention here.
There's no other information from this particular leak, but it adds to the mounting evidence that the Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones are going to show up very soon now – perhaps before we're half way through the year.
While there are usually two-year gaps between flagship Sony over-ear headphone launches, the thinking is that the corporation has waited longer this time to get this series into sync with its earbuds – most not long ago, the Sony WF-1000XM5.
Whatever the reason for the delay, these headphones are now overdue, making a 2025 launch very likely at this stage. Once the new model is unveiled, it'll no doubt be contending for a space in our best headphones guide.
This is by no means the first leak we've heard around the Sony WH-1000XM6. Last month we saw some regulatory filings related to the device, which is always a sure sign that new hardware is about to become available to consumers.
It seems we could be in line for a Bluetooth tech upgrade with these headphones, while there's also been talk of some tweaks to the design this time around. As soon as anything is made official, we will of course let you know.
